Some worldly beats and playafied breaks from the desert!

Last night’s epic SECRET SON@R after hours brought out friends old and new for an evening of pitch perfect selections from Roman Flugel, our very own DJ Striz, and our friends from the Meiotic crew, Abstract Science, and In Your System. Everyone who manned the decks brought command performance, and brought it to the dance floor with all due realness until way, WAAAAY LATE.

Flugel’s eclectic set touched on minimal techno, harder stuff, tech house and more soulful Chicago-style house with lots of keys.  The dance floor ate it up. Not afraid to let a track ride for awhile, Flugel nevertheless blends with astute perfectionism, and his selections were simply delicious. His extended, nearly two-hour set was chock full of treats.

Striz followed Flugel with the usual, jacked-house brilliance – the funky shit. He also brought a more tech-y sound on several cuts, stretching out stylistically from his usual servings.

A whole slew of heads had a whole slew of fun. Props to the Meiotic crew, Roman Flugel, Abstract Science, In Your System, Frankie Vega, and everyone who helped make this great night happen!

What a blast!
